ResearchNote AI Personal for iOS has no account, sign-in, or BridgeAIWorks cloud sync. We do not operate a backend that receives your workspace. The app has no advertising, cross-app tracking, analytics, or crash-reporting SDK.
Projects, experiments, literature metadata and PDFs, notebooks, handwriting, images, recordings and transcripts, research notes, AI outputs, display name, photo or emoji, and preferences are kept in the app's private local storage. ResearchNote AI does not upload them to BridgeAIWorks. Apple device or iCloud backup that you enable may include app data; that backup is controlled by Apple and your device settings, not by BridgeAIWorks.
Camera, photo-library, file, and microphone access are used only after you choose the related feature and grant iOS permission. OCR and transcription run on your device. A recording, selected item, recognized text, or transcript is not uploaded to BridgeAIWorks by ResearchNote AI.
When you search for literature through Crossref, the search terms you enter are sent to api.crossref.org to return results. Crossref handles that request under its own terms and privacy practices. Do not enter sensitive information into a literature-search query.
AI features are optional. Your API key is stored in the iOS Keychain and is not included in a workspace export. Before each request, ResearchNote AI shows the destination and the exact payload and asks for your consent. Only the content you select is sent directly to the provider you choose, such as Gemini, an OpenAI-compatible provider, Ollama, or LM Studio.
BridgeAIWorks does not proxy, receive, store, or train on that request content. The selected provider processes it under its own terms, privacy policy, retention settings, and account rules. Removing a key stops future requests but does not delete material already sent to a provider.
Apple StoreKit and the App Store handle purchases and payment. ResearchNote AI reads product, entitlement, and transaction-status information needed to unlock features; it does not receive your full payment information.
ResearchNote AI offers auto-renewing monthly and yearly subscriptions. The current United States prices are US$0.99 per month and US$9.99 per year. The price, currency, billing period, and any offer shown in your local App Store before purchase control. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple Account subscription settings. A legacy lifetime entitlement may remain available to eligible existing users, but it is no longer offered for sale.
You can edit and export your content, move applicable items to Trash, restore them, or permanently delete them in the app. Deleting the app can remove its local container. Apple or system backups and copies you exported are controlled by you or Apple. Because there is no account or BridgeAIWorks server workspace, we have no remote workspace to delete or restore for you.
If you voluntarily email support@bridgeaiworks.com, we use the email and any attachment to answer your request and meet applicable legal obligations. Sending support material is optional and is not the same as automatic collection by the app. Please do not send unnecessary sensitive research material or API keys.
BridgeAIWorks does not sell personal information from ResearchNote AI for advertising and does not use ResearchNote AI for cross-app tracking.
Review the provider's practices before sending sensitive, confidential, personal, health, or regulated research material to an AI provider. AI output can be incomplete or incorrect and is not medical, clinical, diagnostic, legal, or other professional advice. Verify important conclusions against original sources and qualified professional guidance.
