1. Agreement and operator
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and the individual developer Yung-Hsin Shieh, who operates the BridgeAIWorks brand, concerning your use of Euclid Lab for Android (the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms and the applicable Google Play terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Educational purpose
Euclid Lab is an interactive geometry-learning tool. It combines source-aware reading of Euclid’s Elements with semantic straightedge-and-compass construction, proof workbooks, Undo/Redo, replay, and learning feedback.
The App supports learning and practice; it is not a substitute for a teacher, a formal examination authority, or professional advice. A software validation result or completion state does not guarantee that every written explanation is complete, that every source translation is error-free, or that a learner has mastered a topic. Users, educators, and guardians remain responsible for reviewing learning results.
3. License and permitted use
Subject to these Terms and Google Play’s applicable rules, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on compatible Android devices that you own, control, or are authorized to manage. Families, teachers, and schools may use the App for ordinary supervised learning on authorized devices.
You may not sell, sublicense, redistribute, rent, interfere with, bypass security in, or reverse engineer the App except to the extent applicable law expressly permits. You may not use the App to violate law, infringe another person’s rights, harm another person, or misrepresent App output as an official academic certification.
4. Learning content and user work
BridgeAIWorks retains rights in the App’s software, original design, branding, original editorial material, and other protected materials. Historical source texts, third-party materials, and licensed audio remain subject to their own public-domain status, attribution, or license terms.
You retain any rights you have in notes and proof text that you create. The current App keeps learner work locally and does not upload it to BridgeAIWorks. The App does not currently provide a cloud backup or export service, so you should not rely on BridgeAIWorks to preserve or recover local work.
5. Local profiles and shared devices
A Learner Profile is a local learning record, not a BridgeAIWorks account. Anyone with access to an unlocked shared device may be able to see local profile names and learning state. Use nicknames or classroom codes, protect the device, and follow school or household device-management rules.
Local data may be lost if App storage is cleared, the App is uninstalled, the device is lost or damaged, or a software or storage failure occurs. The App disables Android backup for its private data, and BridgeAIWorks cannot remotely restore device-only information.
6. Google Play, payments, and refunds
Google Play is operated by Google. Downloading, installing, updating, and any store-level transaction are also subject to Google Play’s terms, policies, and applicable consumer law. Google, not BridgeAIWorks, controls Google account and store payment processing.
The current Android App does not include an in-App purchase, paid-content, or auto-renewing subscription flow. Foundations and Book I propositions I.1–I.12 are available within the installed App without an additional in-App charge. If a later version offers paid content or subscriptions, the price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation method, and included content will be disclosed before purchase, and these Terms will be updated as appropriate.
7. Privacy
The Euclid Lab Privacy Policy for Android explains the App’s local storage, lack of network data collection, deletion method, and Google Play boundary. It forms part of these Terms.
8. Updates, availability, and termination
We may update the App to correct errors, improve compatibility, add or remove features, or meet security, licensing, store, or legal requirements. Device compatibility, languages, and content availability may change. We do not guarantee that every feature or version will remain available indefinitely.
Your license ends if you materially violate these Terms. Provisions concerning ownership, disclaimers, limits of liability, and applicable rights survive as appropriate. Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, preservation of local data, or perfect accuracy of content, translations, geometry rules, or feedback.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the App, including loss of device-local learning work. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
10. Children, schools, changes, and contact
If the user cannot legally agree to these Terms, a parent, guardian, teacher, or authorized school representative must review and accept them and supervise use as required by applicable law. Schools and organizations are responsible for device access, lawful educational use, required permissions, and their own student-data obligations.
We may update these Terms when the App, Google Play requirements, or applicable law changes. We will revise the date on this page and provide additional notice when reasonably required.

2. 教育用途

本 App 用於協助學習與練習，不取代教師、正式考試機構或專業意見。軟體的驗證結果或完成狀態不保證每段文字說明均完整、每份來源翻譯均無誤，也不代表學習者已精熟相關內容。使用者、教育者與監護人仍應自行檢視學習成果。
3. 授權與允許的使用方式
在遵守本條款及 Google Play 適用規則的前提下，您取得有限、個人、非專屬、不可轉讓且可撤銷的授權，可在您擁有、控制或獲授權管理的相容 Android 裝置上安裝及使用本 App。家庭、教師與學校可在已授權裝置上，將本 App 用於一般受監督的學習活動。
除適用法律明確允許外，您不得出售、再授權、重新散布、出租、干擾、規避安全措施或反向工程本 App。您不得利用本 App 違法、侵害他人權利、傷害他人，或把 App 輸出冒充為正式學術認證。
4. 學習內容與使用者作品
BridgeAIWorks 保留對本 App 軟體、原創設計、品牌、原創編輯內容與其他受保護素材的權利。歷史來源文本、第三方素材與授權音效，仍適用其各自的公版狀態、署名要求或授權條款。
您保留自己對所建立筆記與證明文字依法享有的權利。目前 App 只在本機保存學習者作品，不會上傳至 BridgeAIWorks。App 目前不提供雲端備份或匯出服務，因此您不應仰賴 BridgeAIWorks 保存或恢復本機作品。
5. 本機 Profile 與共用裝置
Learner Profile 是本機學習紀錄，不是 BridgeAIWorks 帳號。能存取已解鎖共用裝置的人，可能看到本機 Profile 名稱與學習狀態。請使用暱稱或教室代號、保護裝置，並遵守學校或家庭的裝置管理規則。
清除 App 儲存空間、解除安裝 App、裝置遺失或損壞，以及軟體或儲存故障，都可能造成本機資料遺失。本 App 已停用 Android 對 App 私有資料的備份，BridgeAIWorks 無法遠端恢復只存在裝置上的資訊。
6. Google Play、付款與退款
Google Play 由 Google 營運。下載、安裝、更新及任何商店層級的交易，另適用 Google Play 條款、政策及強制性消費者保護法。Google 帳戶與商店付款處理由 Google 控制，而非 BridgeAIWorks。
目前 Android App 不包含 App 內購、付費內容或自動續訂訂閱流程。Foundations 與 Book I 命題 I.1–I.12 在已安裝的 App 內不另外收取 App 內費用。若後續版本提供付費內容或訂閱，會在購買前揭露價格、計費週期、續訂條件、取消方式與包含內容，並視需要更新本條款。
7. 隱私權
Euclid Lab Android 隱私權政策說明 App 的本機儲存、無網路資料蒐集、刪除方式與 Google Play 邊界，並構成本條款的一部分。
8. 更新、可用性與終止
我們可能更新本 App，以修正錯誤、改善相容性、增減功能，或符合安全、授權、商店或法律要求。裝置相容性、語言與內容可用性可能改變。我們不保證每項功能或每個版本都會永久提供。
若您重大違反本條款，使用授權即告終止。關於權利歸屬、免責聲明、責任限制及適用權利的條文，在適當範圍內持續有效。本條款不排除依法不得拋棄的消費者權利。
9. 免責聲明與責任限制
在法律允許的範圍內，本 App 按「現況」與「可用狀態」提供。我們不保證服務不中斷、與每部裝置相容、本機資料永遠保存，或內容、翻譯、幾何規則與回饋完全正確。
在法律允許的最大範圍內，營運者不對因使用或無法使用本 App 所生的間接、附帶、特殊或衍生損失負責，包括裝置本機學習作品的遺失；依法不得排除或限制的責任不受此限制。
10. 兒童、學校、條款更新與聯絡
若使用者依法不能自行同意本條款，應由家長、監護人、教師或獲授權的學校代表審閱並接受本條款，且依適用法律提供必要監督。學校與機構應自行負責裝置存取、合法教育用途、必要授權及其學生資料義務。
若本 App、Google Play 要求或適用法律改變，我們可能更新本條款。我們會修改本頁日期，並在合理必要時提供額外通知。
